The Youth Contract wage incentive enabled Hallett’s Convenience Store to expand their workforce and take on Lucas.

Work Programme provider i2i, discussed how the scheme worked with Halletts Store in Cleethorpes who were looking to expand. i2i put forward Lucas, who was living with his parents and struggling to find work. He was selected for an interview and was delighted to land the job. Lucas is now working permanently as a shop assistant.
