ESF 2007-2013 Competition
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is offering organisations the opportunity to compete, through an open and competitive one stage tendering process, for delivery of provision funded via the European Social Fund Programme 2007-2013 in the district of South Tyne& Wear Valley.
Please note the date for notification of Preferred Bidders is now 8th September 2008. Contract Award date remains as 29 September 2008
Contracts will begin 17th November 2008 and end on 3 August 2011, with the possibility of up to a further two years extension.

All providers who are interested in bidding for this competition must register an expression of interest. Please complete one Expression of Interest stencil indicating the districts that you are proposing to tender for. Please return by e-mail to mike.frost1@dwp.gsi.gov.uk by Monday 7thJuly 2008.
We will be holding a provider briefing event on 9th July 2008 in Durham to explain our requirements more fully and to answer questions from potential bidders and other organizations who may be interested in working as a sub contractors. The morning will consist of formal presentations followed by an opportunity for networking in the afternoon. If you wish to attend such an event please email alison.fryer1@dwp.gsi.gov.uk by 3rd July 2008. We will then send an agenda and venue details via email. No more than two people from your organisation should attend please.
If you wish to be considered for more than one of these contracts you must submit a separate tender for each Local Specification.
Your tender must be submitted in accordance with the documentation and instructions available via this website.

The deadline for receipt of your tender is no later than 12.00 noon on 1 August 2008. Please ensure that your tender is submitted in time to arrive by the deadline as a late tender may not be accepted.
