Professional and Technical Services (PTS)
DWP operates a number of framework contracts for the supply of consultancy and professional services, including: Business, IS/IT and Communications Consultancy, Legal, Financial, Human Resources (HR) and Learning and Development Services, and a broad range of contractor resources including IT, HR, Finance, Communications specialists, and HR services.
Professional and Technical Services (PTS) Team (formerly Consultancy and Professional Technical Services) acts as a centre for Category Management for these contracts and is responsible for ensuring propriety and legality in the engagement of external resources.
PTS provides an end-to end procurement service including sourcing, tendering, negotiating and contracting.
