What we provide
Commercial Directorate delivers estates and other commercial services, including consultancy, print and stationery, office services and ad hoc requirements as needed, to all parts of the Department;
It sets and manages DWP commercial strategy, policy and best practice and provides commercial advice and guidance to:
- ensure improving service quality and value for money from our commercial deals;
- enable DWP procurement to maximise its contribution to the DWP Efficiency Challenge; and
- lead and develop a professional procurement organisation in DWP.
Provides commercial assurance to the Accounting Officer and Principal Finance Office (PFO) for commercial probity, propriety and value for money for procurements across all parts of DWP.
