ESF 2007-13 programme Provider Guidance amendments
The latest update to DWP Provider Guidance chapter 12a has been uploaded to the Provider Guidance page on this website.
Apology for guidance version numbering error
There has been an error in the recent numbering of guidance versions. Version 5 was issued in July 2008; this was followed by a further amendment in November 2008 that was incorrectly annotated version 3.2. This should have been annotated version 5.2. I have compared the versions issued to date and can confirm that they are consistent and did not contain any differing information. I would like to apologise for any confusion this may have caused. It should be noted that the version the amendments refer to in this note is version 6.
Other amendments and changes to note:
- Contents list inserted at the start of the chapter for ease of use.
- Identity and eligibility checks – paragraph 8 – this information has been significantly updated and is renamed Eligibility checks. It removes the requirement for identity checks and clarifies how and why the eligibility check is carried out.
- Removal of annex 1 – confirming identity.
- Remaining annexes re-numbered from annex 1 and text referrals updated.
- Annex 2 - ESF 10 completion guidance - identity field information updated.
- ESF11 leaflet now renamed MKT8000 throughout the guidance and a copy of the leaflet has been inserted for information at annex 2.
- Annex 3 – now contains copies of the ESF4a and ESF5 Providers Monthly Performance information returns.
- Various minor text corrections.
