ESF 2007-13 programme Provider Guidance amendments

The latest update to DWP Provider Guidance chapter 12a has been uploaded to the Provider Guidance page on this website. This update is version 7.

Amendments and changes to note:

• Para 3 – amendment to Jobcentre Plus referral procedures.
• Para 6 – reminder that ‘added value’ for a participant must be recorded on their action plan
• Para 8 – Reinsertion of simplified identity check to be carried out in conjunction with the eligibility check
• Para 8 – step 2 eligibility check – information inserted on pay in lieu of notice (PILON)
• Para 8 – step 2 eligibility check – information inserted on cross boundary attendance on ESF programmes
• Para 17 – Job outcome payments and Criminal Records Bureau checks – information when a job outcome can still be claimed and evidence required
• Para 23 (end) – insertion of general information around faxed and photocopied evidence for payment claims
• Para 24 – 27 – evidence requirements to claim job outcome payments – these paragraphs have been substantially updated and it would be advisable for providers to become familiar with these requirements
• Annex 2 – insertion of mkt8000 leaflet PDF files in 4 ethnic languages
• Annex 2 – Table of Jobcentre Plus contacts for ESF10 – Contacts have been updated in some regions
• Annex 6 – update to the provider statement
