Work for Your Benefit Pilots
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is offering organisations the opportunity to compete, through an open and competitive two-stage restricted tendering process, for the delivery of Work for Your Benefit (WfYB) in 2 pilot contract areas of:
- Jobcentre Plus Districts of Greater Manchester Central and Greater Manchester East and West; and
- Jobcentre Plus Districts of Norfolk and Cambridgeshire & Suffolk.
Stage 1 (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire)
Submission of a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) by interested organisations.
Stage 2 (Invitation to Tender)
Submission of a fully completed bid by organisations successful at Stage 1.

DWP are inviting interested organisations from Public, Private and Voluntary sector organisations to submit a PQQ, to deliver Work for Your Benefit (WfYB) in partnership with local partners and stakeholders.
DWP will only contract with a single legal entity. Where organisations intend to bid as a consortium, they may nominate a lead organisation who will act as the prime contractor (with the other organisations as sub-contractors) or they may set up a new legal entity such as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to bid for these contracts.
Please note that the closing date for a completed PQQ is 12 noon on Wednesday 9 September 2009.
