Specialist Disability Employment Programme - Invitation to Submit Pre-Qualification Questionnaire
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is offering organisations the opportunity to compete, through an open and competitive two stage tendering process, for the delivery of Specialist Disability Employment Programme (SDEP) provision in a number of contract areas.
The contract period for package areas SDEP1 to SDEP28 will be from October 2010 to October 2015, with the opportunity to extend for a further 24 months.
The competition will be a two-stage process:
Stage One (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire)
Submission of a “Pre Qualification Questionnaire” (PQQ) by interested
organisations.
Stage Two (Invitation to Tender)
Submission of a fully completed bid, by organisations successful at Stage
One.

DWP is requesting that if an organisation wishes to submit a PQQ for the
Specialist Disability Employment Programme contracts, they need to indicate
their expression of interest by sending an e-mail confirming their organisation’s
name, address and contact details, stating where they saw the advert for
the Specialist Disability Employment Programme competition to the following
e-mail address by Friday 24th April 2009:

As advertised within recent notices, DWP are holding five provider briefing events:
- Edinburgh – Tuesday 31st March 2009
- Leeds – Wednesday 1st April 2009
- Manchester – Friday 3rd April 2009
- Cardiff – Tuesday 7th April 2009
- London – Wednesday 8th April 2009
The anticipated duration for each event is 10.00 – 15.30. The purpose of these events is to explain our requirements more fully and answer questions from potential bidders and other organisations who may be interested in working as subcontractors. Each event will follow the same format, and therefore your organization will be limited to attending one of these events only. A maximum of two people from each organization can attend.
You are only required to complete one PQQ irrespective of how many contracts you are interested in.
Your PQQ must be submitted in accordance with the documentation and instructions available via this website. Failure to comply may result in your PQQ being deemed non-compliant.

The deadline for receipt of your tender is no later than 12.00 Noon on Monday 18th May 2009. Please ensure that your tender is submitted in time to arrive by the deadline as a late tender may be deemed non-compliant.
