28 January 2011- urgent notice to CTF providers re overpayments of training allowance:

There is an on-going issue with the PRaP/LMS end notification report resulting in overpayments of CTF Training Allowance where customers have left after completing provision.

Over the expected length of this provision the impact of this on potential overpayments is quite high.

As a clerical workaround we have amended form CTF2 to include a tick box for customers completing provision and the date of completion.

As of 28 January 2011 CTF providers must complete the amended version of Form CTF2 with details in this section for all completers.

This will give Allowance Payment teams notification of customers finishing but to avoid  delays in getting payments stopped the provider will also need to telephone Allowance Payments Team on the day of completion to advise them that the customer has left.

Please ensure that all staff follow these processes.
