Sharing of Supplier Management Information

Intent

To share performance data between suppliers via league tables based on Management information produced on a monthly basis by private and 3rd sector suppliers.

Background

Over the past several months the Commercial Procurement Programme Management Team (CPPM) within CEP have been working closely with Contract Managers from both SRM and LPM teams in developing and maintaining an MI database based upon supplier data.

We are now at a stage where we have over 6 months data for the majority of programmes, from this data we are now starting to provide Contract Managers and other parties within the Department with league tables based on the data provided by suppliers.

A number of suppliers have requested that we share these league tables with them to help inform performance discussions.

Proposal

CEP would like to share these league tables across all suppliers on a monthly basis, the tables will show performance on all contracts against contractual targets, these tables will based upon the data you supply to your Contract Manager on a monthly basis.

The league tables will consist of information such as:

• Contract Number
• Region
• District
• Provision
• Leavers
• Outcome target
• Actual job outcomes

This list is not exhaustive and may vary slightly dependant on the nature of the provision the tables are reporting on.

Timescale

We are intending to release the tables starting in January 2009 to all Contract Managers, if you have any objections to sharing this data can you please contact Mark Richards via email on mark.richards1@dwp.gsi.gov.uk before the 23 December 2008.

If we have not heard from you then we will assume that you agree to us sharing your performance information across all suppliers.
