Changes to entry criteria for the Support Contract

DWP has been reviewing the Support Contract to identify opportunities to improve the programme's ability to meet Jobcentre Plus requirements. As part of the review, DWP has agreed to amend the existing entry criteria by opening access to the Support Contract to ESA/IB customers.

Additionally, Jobcentre Plus now has total flexibility to put any customer on any module, subject to the relevant contract value. The Adviser will decide the most appropriate provision for the customer, based on customer need and available funding. This will be carefully managed by Jobcentre Plus as there is a need to ensure that Lone Parent provision can still be delivered to Lone Parents, Partners and Carers as required.
