Publication of Contract Documents

Organisations intending to bid for public sector contracts should note that the Government has set out a requirement for greater transparency across its operations to enable the public to hold public bodies and politicians to account. This includes commitments relating to public expenditure, intended to help achieve better value for money.

DWP is obliged to publish Invitation to Tender documents for contracts with a value over £10,000. In addition, all new contracts awarded from January 2011 with a value over £10,000 will be published. In some circumstances, limited redactions will be made to contracts before they are published in order to comply with existing law and for the protection of national security.

From January 2011, we will publish tender documents and contracts of a value over £10,000 on Contracts Finder for transparency purposes. From 31 March, we will publish details of all live opportunities via Contracts Finder
