DWP Innovation Fund Round Two IAF Results

We are pleased to announce that we have now completed the selection process for the first stage of Round Two of the Innovation Fund competition. The names of the successful short listed bidders of the Initial Application Form (IAF) stage are as follows:

DWP Innovation Fund Round Two

Round Two of the Innovation Fund Competition will be launched on 20th January 2012, via Bravo Solutions (DWP’s e procurement platform) .

As in Round 1 of the Innovation Fund, there will be an Innovation Fund Partnership Forum on the IndusDelta website to facilitate networking by interested parties.

Background

On 12 May, the Government announced a package of measures to help address youth unemployment. These included a new ‘Innovation Fund’ of up to £30 million over 3 years from 2012 to support social investment projects.  The projects will support disadvantaged young people and those at risk of disadvantage.  The Innovation Fund (IF) is being commissioned via two rounds. The first round of the IF focused on 14-24 year olds and provision starts in early 2012. The second round, which focuses on disadvantaged young people, and those at risk of disadvantage, aged 14 and 15 years to reduce prospects of them being or becoming long term NEET, was launched on the 20th January 2012.

Innovation Fund Round 2 projects will engage disadvantaged young people when they are 14 or 15 years of age.  Projects can work with these young people for up to three years and claim outcomes during this period.

Please note all bidding documents including the specification are available on the Bravo Solutions website.

Organisations interested in bidding are advised to register on Bravo Solutions to ensure that they receive updates and alerts that will only be circulated to those that have registered.
