Staff learning and development

DWP operates a number of contracts for the supply of learning and development services for its own staff.

Sourcing strategy

DWP uses the Buying Solutions (BS) Learning and Development and E-Learning Solutions Framework as its preferred route for sourcing L&D services. This Framework adheres to the European Union Procurement Directives and Public Contracts Regulations with which DWP, as a public authority, is required to comply. DWP is also working with other central government Departments on a Civil Service Learning Improvement Programme (CSLIP) to develop a set of common requirements. These requirements will in future be advertised in the supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union.
