Business travel
The Department has nine contracts that provide business travel services for its staff.
All the contracts are managed by the Business Travel Team, which is split between offices in Benton View Park, Newcastle upon Tyne and Quarry House, Leeds.
What does the Business Travel Team do?
- Manage contracts for DWP business and travel associated activities.
- Liaise with suppliers over contractual issues to resolve any problems that may arise.
- Through positive contract management, ensure that all business travel contracts fully meet customer needs.
- Maximises usage of the business travel contracts in DWP.
