The DWP monthly reports cover the following businesses that use the Department’s accounting system, except the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission (CMEC) – see below:

Other DWP Non Departmental Public Bodies (including CMEC) are publishing their data on their own web sites. National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) and The Pension Protection Fund are not publishing this data because they are exempt as public corporations.

The reports contain data extracted from the Department’s accounting system using a programme that selects payments that fit the specified criteria. The value of the payments published will reflect the running costs of the Department excluding staff pay.

The reports do not contain payments that can be excluded under the HM Treasury guidance. These will mainly be payments that are commercially sensitive or personal information covered by the Data Protection Act.

They also do not contain payments to staff or benefit-related payments for members of the public.
