Who gets urticaria?
Acute Urticaria is common with at least twenty percent of people getting an attack sometime during their lifetime. Chronic Urticaria is less common but may affect 1 in 1000 people at some point in time. Urticaria can occur in both children and adults and is equally common in men and women.
