Stages of endometrial cancer
- Stage 1 endometrial cancer - the cancer is limited to the uterus.
- Stage 2 endometrial cancer - the cancer is in the cervix (neck of the womb) as well as the uterus.
- Stage 3 endometrial cancer - the cancer is limited to the pelvis but has spread to the ovaries, vagina or pelvic lymph glands.
- Stage 4A endometrial cancer - the cancer has spread to the bowel or bladder adjacent to the uterus
- Stage 4B endometrial cancer - the cancer has spread to other organs such as the lung or liver – metastatic disease
