This involves immediate removal from exposure, as this may result in complete resolution of the asthma (if intervention occurs early enough). If exposure continues, chronic asthma may develop.

There are many precautions in place now, to prevent occupational asthma, and employers are required by the government (by law) to be vigilant about this matter.
