Fraud Guide
The Fraud Guide is used by DWP staff who investigate allegations of benefit fraud. Exempt material has been replaced in the guide with a series of letters X – as if published in response to a request made under the Freedom of Information Act. The Act contains a number of exemptions to the right of access to information. The exemptions allow some information to be withheld, to protect various interests.
We will review the guide twice a year.
