Clinical Features
Ovarian cancer notoriously has no specific alarm symptoms and for this reason may be quite advanced before it is diagnosed.
Symptoms that a woman may notice include:
- Lower abdominal pain
- Abdominal bloating
- Altered bowel habit (constipation or diarrhoea)
- Loss of appetite or feeling sick (nausea)
- Passing urine more frequently
- Tiredness
- Back pain
- Irregular periods
- Pain during sex (dyspareunia)
