Treatment
Four groups of medications are used to treat angina (preventative anti-anginal medication):
Different combinations will be used as they are tailored to the individual requirements.
NB. Treatment of underlying problems can worsen angina, such as treating high blood pressure, anaemia or thyrotoxicosis, (over active thyroid)
