Sources of evidence

It is usually the case that people with drug induced liver disease will have been diagnosed and treated in hospital. Reports can be obtained from hospital doctors or specialist nurses working in liver clinics.

When an individual has made a good recovery from an episode of drug induced liver damage, it may be most helpful to obtain a general practitioner factual report. This report will confirm that there are no residual problems.
