Disabling effects

The main disabling effects of arrhythmia are transient as the arrhythmia may be intermittent and can usually be well controlled by: -

In such cases, the disabling effects are not likely to be significant.

However, the underlying cause of the arrhythmia or consequences of the arrhythmia such as a stroke or heart failure may cause disabling effects. If evidence suggests that the customer has heart failure or has had a stroke, which may have resulted from an arrhythmia then go to either Heart Failure guidance or Strokes guidance.
