Moving Towards Full Employment in the North West
Work and Pensions Secretary of State John Hutton and his Ministerial team were in the North West on the 18 May 2007 as part of a series of fact finding visits around Britain to see for themselves the impact of the Government’s Welfare Reform measures.
Ministers visited towns and cities across the North West to see some of the innovative work being carried out in local communities to tackle poverty and unemployment.
To mark this visit, the Department has published a paper, ‘Moving Towards Full Employment in the North West’.
