Realising Equality in the Department for Work and Pensions 2005 to 2008
We are pleased to introduce below a summary of the first full revision of our Departmental Race Equality Scheme. We have listened to feedback following publication of our first scheme, which suggested that our customers would much rather see a smaller, summarised document.
Another change we have made is to produce a document which, although predominantly focused on race, also includes other aspects of diversity, in line with our commitment to provide equality and opportunity for all.
A feedback form is attached for your comments, and we would be grateful if you could complete and return this, so that your views can be considered when publishing future documents.
