Pensions language guide

We have produced a number of publications covering various aspects of automatic enrolment.

Language

We have carried out research to inform the way we provide information on workplace pension reform to members of the public. As part of this we looked at the language we use to describe automatic enrolment and pensions, as we know complex language can put people off. This has led to the development of our "Automatic enrolment and pensions language guide" that we have produced through working with a range of partners. We intend to update and add to the language guide.

When we are introducing automatic enrolment

We are introducing automatic enrolment from 2012. We are doing the introduction in stages over a number of years so how it affects people will be phased in.
