Review update – 21 February 2011
Over the past month Liz and the team have been busy gathering evidence for this review by:
- speaking with disability leaders, employers, trade unionists and a wide range of other stakeholders
- visiting Remploy factories and Residential Training Colleges
- pulling together the latest research, data and analysis.
We will continue to consult widely throughout February, to help inform the thinking for developing recommendations for the final report due to be published in summer 2011.
Final reminder for call for evidence
The call for evidence closes on 28 February 2011.
- Liz is keen to hear from as many people as possible. We would urge anyone with an interest to take this opportunity to shape future policy so that more disabled people are enabled to work and have satisfying careers.
