- Assisted Exercise Therapy (183KB)
the installation of specially adapted exercise equipment in Day Centres for older people across the city to provide safe exercise for service users and enable them to undertake individual physiotherapy. - Creative Start 50 Plus (215KB)
promotes health and well-being for the over 50s through involvement in creative activities. - Healthy Hips and Hearts Project (204KB)
training people to become mentors to deliver predominantly chair-based exercise. - Housing Choice (229KB)
aimed at assisting citizens to make sustainable housing choices. - Increasing Physical Activity (188KB)
provides training and resources for care and residential settings to develop their own reminiscence sessions. - Mobile Information Centre (181KB)
a bus-sized vehicle staffed by officers using wireless 3G mobile phone technology. - One Stop Shop (183KB)
a single point of contact for access to information and services including health, safety, security, benefits and warmth for the elderly population.
Pilot evaluation report
As part of the project, all pilots undertook local evaluation of their pilot in addition to the national evaluation being undertaken by Warwick Business School.
