"Link up" in Gateshead links up people aged 50 and over with the services they need, including a network of preventative services and activities. These Include:
- small tasks and handyman services
- "Safety Works" a one-off awareness session on safety inside and outside the home
- initiatives promoting health and well-being.

aims to be the recognised independent voice for older people in Gateshead. - Good Companions (Age Concern) (211KB)
a well established service set up in 1994 by Age Concern Gateshead which provides a range of services for frail and isolated older people in Gateshead living in their own homes. - Live at home scheme (188KB)
a charity offering a quality low level support service for older people in the community who may be isolated and unable to get out and about as they used to. - Safety Works Older Persons Events (215KB)
a site based safety centre in the west end of Newcastle serving the community of Tyne and Wear. - Timebank (Age Concern) (236KB)
a new community participation project delivered by Age Concern Gateshead and focused on older people.
