The International Social Security Association (ISSA) Initiative is a public outreach programme aimed at an international audience of policy makers, heads of social security institutions and the public at large. It is designed to inform national and international debates on social security. Through the ISSA Initiative, ISSA member organisations are focusing public attention on the impact that social security has on the security of individuals, families, communities and society at large.
