Other types of work in the UK
If you have come from a non-EEA country to work in the UK and
- you are not in one of the types of job listed in the section headed Special contribution arrangements, and
- you are not covered by the arrangements you can read about in Working in the UK for a non-EEA employer; and
- you are not covered by the situations described in Self-employment
- you are not covered by the arrangements you can read about in Working in the UK and a non-EEA country
you will normally have to pay UK contributions as soon as you start work here. Your employer should arrange this for you.
