Special contribution arrangements in social security agreement countries
There may be special arrangements for your insurance if you work abroad and some or all of the following apply. You:
- travel in your work for a company, firm or group that carries goods or passengers by road or air;
- work on any ship or vessel registered in the country where you work or in the UK;
- work in the government service of that country or of the UK;
- work privately for a government official of that country or of the UK;
- are employed in a diplomatic mission or consular post of that country or the UK;
- work privately for an official of a diplomatic mission or consular post of that country or of the UK
- work for a public corporation of that country or the UK.
