Opportunities to undertake assessments for the Independent Living Fund
We are offering unique opportunities to undertake assessments for the Independent Living Fund.
The Independent Living Fund requires 3 self-employed independent assessors with experience of assessing complex adult community care packages.
- Two posts covering South Lincolnshire, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, south Suffolk and north Essex
- one post to cover South Yorkshire and surrounding areas
You will be asked to carry out, on average, two to five assessments per week and each assessment may require up to five hours work. In return, you will be paid £92.40 plus travel expenses for each completed assessment.
It is essential that you are a registered Social Worker or hold an equivalent professional qualification, and live close to the areas you would cover.
