New ESF mainstreaming plans and progress reports for the ESF cross-cutting themes

New mainstreaming plans have been launched for the second half of the ESF programme period for the cross-cutting themes of gender equality and equal opportunities and sustainable development.

The plans set out mainstreaming priorities for the next 2-3 years, which include:

• increasing the female participation rate for the programme to 51 per cent (for the second half of the programme period); and
• increasing the amount of ESF provision which has an environmental, green skills or green jobs focus.
