Europe Day 9 May

Today (9 May) is Europe Day and along with the rest of Europe, ESF partners are marking the anniversary of the European Union’s creation.
The European flag will be hoisted at Steel City House in Sheffield, where the Department for Work and Pensions ESF Division is based, and will fly for the following week.
The day will be marked around Europe with events and activities. One such event is in Truro – where the annual Cornwall WISE awards – will celebrate Convergence ESF achievements in employment and skills activity. A full report on this event will be appearing shortly on this site.
