ESF Newsletter
Introduction
Welcome to the ESF Newsletter for the 2007-2013 England European Social Fund programme.
The newsletter replaced the bi-monthly ‘ESF at work e-zine’ in mid-April 2012 and is:
- produced fortnightly to get latest news items to readers more quickly
- short (one or two pages) using direct links to articles – and limited supporting narrative/images
- produced in-house providing faster response times for including last minute links and features.
It contains short local and national news articles, plus information and links related to:
- updates on evaluations
- lessons and effective practice from the programme
- new publications and funding opportunities
- events/awards initiatives
- ESF partner news and a forward look.
The newsletter is targeted at a wide audience including:
- Providers delivering ESF and match funded projects and other organisations interested in doing so
- Members of the public and people with an interest in European Union funded initiatives and programmes
- Co-financing Organisations and other ESF delivery partners
- Policy makers and practitioners involved in employment, skills, education and social inclusion areas
- The European Commission and other EU bodies.
The ESF Newsletter is circulated by email to former e-zine subscribers plus new subscribers (see below). We welcome feedback on the newsletter on an ongoing basis.
