Frazer Coogans solicitors – case study
When Frazer Coogans relocated their offices a few years ago finding premises that would meet the needs of their disabled clients was a priority. As employee Margaret Mackin explained, “We have a number of clients who are disabled, injured or in ill health, so it is important that we provide the right service.” Staff at the solicitors’ firm in Ayr take a flexible approach to their work in order to meet a client’s individual needs. For example, a client who has a mobility impairment can request a home visit or if a client has a visual impairment, large print documents are available.
The offices of Frazer Coogans are situated over a number of floors but, in order to ensure clients with mobility impairments can access the same level of service, an interview room is available on the ground floor. Double doors have been fitted at the main entrance and the reception area is spacious enough for clients who have a mobility impairment.
The firm recently had their car park resurfaced to improve access for clients with mobility impairments. Designated parking bays are also available.
