The government is encouraging the development of community-based support for unemployed people as part of its policy of helping people to find and stay in work.
Work Clubs use local knowledge and resources to help unemployed people in their communities. They provide a place to meet and exchange skills, find opportunities, make contacts, share experiences and receive support to help them return to work.
Setting up a Work Club
This guidance includes practical help and advice to help you set up or support a Work Club.
You can add your own information to the case study and press release templates to help publicise your Work Club. But remember, these are only suggestions and you may wish to use your own promotional material.
