Our own consultation - and evidence from our Information and Advice Service - concurs with Disability Alliance’s conclusions and concerns.  Although the reforms seek to tackle some anomalies in this benefit, their impact is most severe on those with greatest need and undermines government policy in achieving its stated aims of fairness and justice.  They are certainly not helpful in  challenging discrimination and hatred.  We support Disability Alliance’s submission.
