We deal with blue badges so can only complete the questions 18 & 19 which I hope might help:

Question 18 – What information about the disabled person could we share with other services or government departments to stop the disabled person having to tell lots of people the same thing?

If the person qualifies for the higher rate of DLA at present they receive the badge immediately but we do require written proof from your department therefore if we could get an immediate answer that would speed up the issue of the badge.  Sometimes the condition can improve with surgery etc and it would be useful if we could be informed if the award is amended in any way.

Question 19 – How would our ideas for the new benefit affect different equality groups?  For example, the equality groups looking at disability, age, race, gender, sexual orientation and religion and belief.

I can’t see any reason why this would change as this is not applicable to their mobility.
