Contact DWP Ministers
You can make your views known to Ministers yourself or ask your MP to raise an issue for you. Your MP might provide you with a copy of the response they receive.
DWP staff aim to respond to 90% of letters and emails addressed to DWP Ministers within 20 working days. Ministers receive regular reports on the issues raised.
Remember, Government Ministers receive a large volume of correspondence and will only respond personally in exceptional cases. Ministers cannot intervene in individual cases – about benefit entitlement, for example.
