This response to the public consultation covers all the consultations on amendments included in this set of regulations. To make it easier for those who responded to only one consultation, the response has been divided into 3 parts, each covering a separate consultation.

We have merged all the amendments into one set of Occupational and Stakeholder Pension Schemes (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2013, which come into force on 6 April 2013.

Consultation description

One change relates to formerly contracted-out schemes that wish to make a change to their scheme rules. Other changes affect bulk transfer of scheme membership and accrued rights without member consent, and ensure transfers can be made to pension schemes both within and outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
