The Government published its response to this consultation “Disability employment Support: fulfilling potential” on 7 March 2012 . This sets out the strategy for specialist disability employment programmes and includes a summary of the responses to the public consultation of the Sayce Review "Getting in, staying in and getting on”.

Equality
The Department has carried out an equality impact assessment on implementing improvements to specialist disability employment programmes, as set out in this response. It has assessed the proposal in line with all the current public sector equality duties, as well as considering the positive impacts on employment support for disabled people.
