Call for evidence description

This call for evidence set out the government’s proposals on how central government local delivery of assistance to replace Community Care Grants and Crisis Loans for general living expenses. It set out our plans for delivery by local authorities in England in more detail and invited involvement in discussions on how the locally-based service could be designed and administered.

This call for evidence is aimed at upper-tier local authorities, welfare rights organisations and other customer representative groups. Also any other interested groups or individuals.
