This consultation asked for views on the draft Financial Assistance Scheme and Pension Protection Fund (Valuation, Revaluation and Indexation Amendments) Regulations 2011. These draft Regulations are intended to deliver some of the changes announced by the Government on 8 July 2010, that the consumer prices index (rather than the retail prices index) should be used by the Financial Assistance Scheme and the Pension Protection Fund in relation to the calculation of certain payments.

Part 1
We published Part 1 (FAS) of the Government response on 7 February 2011. The Financial Assistance Scheme (Revaluation and Indexation Amendments) Regulations 2011 were laid before Parliament on 31 January 2011.
