The Occupational Pensions Schemes (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 2006
The Occupational Pension Schemes (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 2006 were planned to come into effect in October 2006.
However in the pension reform White Paper published in May 2006 the Department announced a review of regulation to ease the burden on employers and make it easier for them to run workplace pension schemes.
Ministers now want to look again at the broader framework of regulation. They have therefore decided not to go ahead with these new regulations.
The Occupational Pension Schemes (Disclosure of Information) Regulations 1996 (SI 1996/1655) will continue to apply.
