Housing and employment mobility services (HEMS) is a project owned by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, in which Jobcentre Plus is actively involved. Key elements include:

• Bringing together information databases of employment, training, education and housing.
• Neighbourhood information available to enable job/house hunters and employers to gain easier and quicker access to a wide range of information, so helping them to make more informed decisions about their mobility and locality options.
