Occupation and employment
The FRS asks a number of questions relating to income from jobs and the number of jobs held, from which the respondents' employment, economic and socio-economic status is derived, as well as the Standard Occupational Classification of their job. For those respondents not working, questions are asked regarding why they are not working and how long it is since they last worked.
