This report presents findings from a qualitative study based on 61 in-depth interviews undertaken with lone parents from different minority ethnic communities in summer 2002. The research carried out by the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB) examines experiences of lone parents from different minority ethnic communities, their participation in the New Deal for Lone Parents (NDLP) and their interaction with the Child Support Agency.
